Togo, The Forgotten Country

Hello readers, my name is Haru. My mission for this post is to start a global awareness about a poor country that you may not know of. You may think this is weird but, did you ever watched the movie “Inception” before? Many people say it is the movie that has a dream inside a dream. But why does Marion Cotillard or Mal in the movie suicide when she woke up from her dream? It is because of the “idea” that she is inside a dream. People that are around her tell her the concept that she is in a dream. Therefore, because she is constantly bombarded with the thought that she is inside a dream, she tries to wake up by killing herself. Maybe this example wasn’t too realistic for you, so can you remember the event about ‘Koni’? How it only took about one or two weeks for a few thousand people to watch the Koni video and tried to take part? That event was able to happen because an idea was able to travel around the world and people were informed that this tragic event was happening to young children in Africa. Therefore, once a person was able to hear the news, they acted and helped the event and spread the news to people around him or her. Now do you realize how powerful one idea can be, when it is passed around the world? It may seem very unrealistic and impossible in words, but an idea is can travel easily (especially in this generation due to fluent communication around the world) and influences people easily. So, I want to utilize the amazingness of “idea” and tell you, readers, about a country named Togo.
